The challenges of sustainability in the academic and research environment: a French-Italian joint response

Franco-Italian scientific and university cooperation is based both on the programs managed by the Franco-Italian University, created in 1998, and on the Framework Agreement signed on 22 October 2020 by the Conférence des Présidents d'Universités (CPU) and the Conference of Italian University Rectors (CRUI). 

• Sustainable Development Goals, also in relation to the COP 26 co-chaired by Italy
• European Universities (16 of which include both Italian and French partners). 

• A Franco-Italian high-level forum on research and innovation for sustainable development, to define the Franco-Italian research priorities in the field of sustainable development and the key sectors for future academic-scientific collaborations.
• A round table on the commitment of universities and their students to sustainable development, on topics related to: digital footprint in the context of digital transformation of universities, "green campus" initiatives, university and student networks for sustainability, and training for sustainable development.

L’evento conclusivo, che si svolgerà in modalità online venerdì 24 settembre a partire dalle 11.00, sarà l’occasione per presentare le tante attività svolte da studentə, docenti e personale amministrativo delle università per il raggiungimento dell’obiettivo del progetto Mentorship: contribuire all’istituzionalizzazione dei modelli di mentorship per gli/le studentə migranti nelle università italiane, supportando attivamente studentə rifugiatə o con un background migratorio nella loro vita accademica e nel loro percorso di inclusione sociale nel contesto italiano.

AVVISO PER LA PRESENTAZIONE DI PROGETTI (ed. 2021)

Il MAECI, la Fondazione CRUI e il MUR promuovono l’edizione 2021 del Premio Rita Levi-Montalcini. L’Avviso per la presentazione delle candidature è rivolto a università ed enti di ricerca, per la presentazione di un progetto di cooperazione scientifica tra Italia e Israele che preveda il soggiorno di uno studioso israeliano di elevato prestigio internazionale per almeno quattro mesi presso l’ente italiano proponente.

Il tema individuato per l’edizione 2021 è: Genomic technologies for sustainable agriculture.
